Audition Information Our auditions are open to high school seniors, college age women and recent college
graduates. In general, we prefer young ladies who are age 18 or older. However, we would consider a younger person who is
exceptionally talented, or is part of a group of family singers. In addition to the music portion of their audition, each girl is asked to prepare a 5 -10
minute presentation on some matter of faith or morals, or so some pro-life topic. The purpose of this speech is to help us
evaluate their public speaking ability. For high school students, this requirement is optional.
One young woman who has been associated with this apostolate
from its inception is Miss Katelyn Walker, a 2008 graduate from Magdalen College in NH. Katelyn is a very talented musician
and an articulate speaker who also serves as our public relations spokesperson. She says "Being involved in the mission
of Saint Cecilia Classical Productions has helped me re-evaluate my understanding of the beliefs and values I hold as a Catholic
woman. It's exciting and encouraging to see how my musical talents and those of other young women can be used to promote a
true appreciation and respect for life.” The video below is an example of the speech
presentation. The video on the right is of a sight reading exercise from the same audition.

By afternoon, the sun was starting to break through the clouds. There were an estimated 400,000 people in attendance.
